Yuri – Girl on girl. Mostly described as girls having/wanting relationships with girls. Lesbian relationships to basically put it. More popular than Yaoi (boy on boy), but mostly even. Yaoi – Boy on boy. Boys having/wanting relationships with boys. Gay relationships. Most well known yaoi is Gravitation. But you can google or yahoo it as “Yaoi anime list” and it should pop with some. You can go to wikipedia and type in Yaoi (or yuri if you please) it should pop up with a discription and a list of yaoi anime and manga list.

Shoujo Ai – Girl love. Onidere, Azumanga Diaoh, etc. Mostly involves deep friendship between girls.

Shonen Ai – Boy love. Mostly involves deep friendship between boys.

Etchi – Japanese for sexy, etc. (Nudity). It can be Yuri ecchi, yaoi ecchi, and so fourth. Just adds nudity to the anime, manga, or manhwa.

Hentai – Sexual content. Basically adding sexual intercorse/oral/body contact to the anime, manga, or manhwa.

Manga – Is a Japanese comic book, unlike manhwa and american, the comic is red from right to left instead of left to right.

Manhwa – Is a Korean comic. Sometimes the character has realism in the characters art form.

Sarasah and 1/2 Prince are two of many manhwa that are great to read.

In anime you will find repeated phrases. Here are some phrases:

Baka – Moron or idiot.

Aho – fool. In the anime Naruto, you will see a crow flying around in the backround saying aho; bascally describing the character’s stupidity… I really love that crow. Ha-ha.

Je mata ne – see you later.

Sayonara – good bye.

Ohiyo – Good morning.

Konichiwa – Hello/ good afternoon.

Konbanwa – Good night.

Gomen dasai – I’m sorry.

Ich, ni, san – 1, 2, 3

Ai – Love

Watashi – I

Ora/ore – I. Mostly the character will say this to refering to him or herself.
