As always, Pixar lived up to its distinctive reputation by included a slew of easter eggs in their newest gem, Up; but one easter egg in particular was really unique.

While watching the movie, there came a scene- right at the beginning- in which the film’s main character, Karl, sat down in his beloved chair and watched some television. You could not see what he was watching, but for a brief moment, you could hear a man trying to sell a camera via infomercial. Well that exact infomercial can be seen at this link:

By far, this is one of my favorite videos of all time. Once you watch it, it’ll speak for itself.

As you would imagine, I started laughing when I heard the audio from this video in the movie. People thought I was retarded, but it was okay with me. I won’t ruin the rest of the movie for you, but I can assure you that it’s a great family film, as it is one of the precious few movies these days that actually promotes and teaches a good philosophy about love and doing what is right.
