My Passion for Buildings: Spain
My recent trip to Spain.
Hi welcome to my next part of my passion for buildings, this time I am going to talk about one of my recent trips to Spain, read my earlier article
London
Plaza square

The Plaza Mayor is an amazing structure, which is near Puerto Del Sol. It was built in the 15th century to originally be a small market square. When Phillip II made Madrid the capital of Spain, it was rebuilt and became a bug attraction hosting bullfights, carnivals and great festivals and ceremonies of Madrid.
I love this square because of the history and architecture in the square.
Reina Sofia Art museum
The Reina Sofia museum is located in an old square dotted around with many beer taverns, tapas bars and cafés. The Museum has an interesting mix of old and modern, with its old fascade mixed with the modern glass elevators. The types of art are brilliant with loads of varieties.
Retiro Park
Retiro park was built for the Spanish king Phillip IV and was opened to public in the 1800s.This park has many amazing , astonishing ,beautiful buildings. One of the most beautiful is the ‘Crystal Palace’, which is made entirely of glass.
Royal palace
The Spanish Royal Palace in Madrid is the second largest palace in the world. You can also get an English tour of the palace which is brilliant. Construction of the Palace began in 1734 when Spain was under the rule of the Bourbon monarchy.
Unfortunately my stay in Madrid was short so I didn’t get to see many attractions.
