World’s Highest Building: Burj Dubai
A little about the architectural wonder.
For many years, man loves testing his limits and pushes himself to outdo what he had done earlier. Restlessness and thirst for improvement have long been reasons for many of his actions.
The one thing that means a lot to an ordinary man is to accomplish what is perceived as impossible by all.

United Arab Emirates a couple of decades ago was no more than a desert. A visit to this country today would leave you awe-struck. The cosmopolitan city, the pearl – Dubai, is famous. Here I shall tell you one of the reasons why.
Burj Dubai
Started with a vision to be the tallest building in the world, this lean sharp architectural wonder is nearing completion stage. It would be of a bit of a surprise if you found out the real inspiration behind the structure – nature’s beauty – a flower called Hymenocallis.

You can see it across the skyline from the borders of Sharjah (neighbouring emirate) as well! What’s in store for amazement is that the whole neighbouring area around the Burj is going to turn into an amazing mini-city lost in itself.

The grandeur is actually in the finishing stages of construction phase. Fingers crossed as it shall enter the powering up phase.
We can grip our seats with excitement as we now don’t see the cranes on top of the building !

This is a very interesting article. I think it is wonderful that this building is inspired by a flower. Dubai is a very popular tourist hot-spot. I will have to go there for a holiday one day.Everyone says it is lovely.
