Getting a Tattoo

Getting a Tattoo

Butterfly tattoos, Celtic tattoos, lower back tattoos, sun tattoos. So many designs to pick from. Make sure that you select one that suits you because once you choose one, there’s no turning back, unless you consider getting a tattoo removal.

Have you ever thought of getting a tattoo?  If you have, you are not the only one. Tattoos have become a popular trend for both men and women these days. First, you should find the perfect design. Secondly, have you thought of the area where you want to place the tattoo? Remember that once you decide to engrave your body with an eccentric design, it is permanent unless you consider getting a tattoo removal. So if you decide to get a tattoo with your boyfriend’s name on it, make sure that this is the man that you are planning to be with for the rest of your life. I’m sure that you don’t want to see Tommy engraved on your ankle several years from now and say damn, I regret having done this! Next, it is a good idea to personalize your tattoo. Some tattoo artists encourage this. For example, you can select one design or several in some cases and then have the color changed or parts can be added. In addition, some people choose several designs and mix and match creating one tattoo. Next, let’s talk about getting the actual tattoo. Before a tattooist or tattoo artist can engrave the tattoo, you must have the design. Also, the artist needs well-drawn stencils. Stencils are line-drawings or “blue prints.” the tattoo artist needs in order to draw the tattoo on your skin. Then, the artist applies a liquid solution and presses the carbon drawing on the skin. Regardless of how tattoos are created, almost all tattooists use line drawings. Sometimes, artists will use a pen directly on the skin before applying the tattoo.

Depending on the artist’s skill and experience, a tattoo can be altered. For example, most tattoo designs range from smaller to large sizes. After watching a program on tattoo designs earlier today, I learned that if an artist tries to put a lot of design on a smaller tattoo, the tattoo will not hold up over time. When choosing a design, it is important to find one that suits you because like I said before once they apply it on your skin, there’s no turning back. Personally, I don’t like the lower back tattoos. Perhaps a simple butterfly or sun is acceptable.

That is true, this is useful advice for anyone that’s getting a tattoo, sadly I have no intention on getting a tattoo.

Very informative! I really liked your article. My mother as well as my aunt and uncle have tattoos. My mom didn’t get my father’s name on her. She has mine and my sister’s initials as well as her name and her mother’s name.

tattoos don’t look too bad when you are young but just wait untill you are middle aged and onward. they do not look good on older skin. think about that before getting a tattoo.

There’s also a temporary kind of tattoo. It’s called henna tattoo. If you feel like getting one for the moment, just for cosmetic purposes, you could have one, then it will fade in a couple of days or after a week. Thanks for the nice tips here.

Yes, there is always a temporary tattoo option and Hena is best in that sense. So I don’t think it’s really a problem.
