Tattoo Parlour Advertisement Poster
A Tattoo Parlour advertisement poster I made for my second Year 12 Media Studies Mini SAT.
For my second mini-SAT, I will be creating a poster for a Tattoo Parlour I have created called Slick Designs, using Adobe Photoshop for hardcore tattoo lovers and those who want to get their first tattoo with an interest in intrinsic designs and a love for tattoos. The age group of my target audience is about 20 – 30, those old enough to get a tattoo. The posters main attraction will be a very abstract design in order to show off the tattoo parlours’ skills of how good their designs are.
Specifications
Style: Abstract and intrinsic.
Typology: The font used will be a very stylish/tattoo font to contrast with the abstract design and nature of the theme (tattoo parlour).
Layout: I will place the abstract tattoo in the middle and place a cropped version of the design behind it. The title will be located up the top of the poster and the address in the bottom right-hand corner.
Presentation: I will present my poster A4 in size on normal printing paper and printed using a basic ink jet colour printer.
Visual Images: Abstract tattoo design.
Advertising: This poster could be located outside the tattoo parlour and in the general public to advertise the tattoo parlour and show off their skills/
Colour: The colours used will be Grey scale, black and white.

Realization
My final Tattoo Parlour (Slick Designs) advertisement poster turned out exactly as I had planned it to. You can tell it is an advertisement because of the address located in the bottom right-hand corner. It has a very professional approach with the text and fonts and displays the parlours skill with the abstract design. My knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and its use of brushes aided me in creating this poster (that being a strength). A limitation was the printing and paper that made the poster look less professional and stylish.

I hope you got an excellent grade in your class for this very well done poster. It brings many art forms up close for an interesting look and is truly appealing.
