The Tattoo Revolution

There was a time when Tattoos were only for Bikers; Drug Dealers and Drunken Fools. Not Any more! Tattoos are for every one! There are more bankers than bikers with tattoos now. Rich, Trendy house wives are getting exotic and sophisticated designs; Tattoo Design, application and acceptance is booming. If you were looking for a career in Body Art; now is the time to jump on board.

I have always been a fan of tattoos and despite my wayward teen years; I was smart enough not to rush out and just get myself one. At 35 I still do not have one but plan to indulge myself this Christmas time. I will not be paying for it! My daughter will be giving me my first Tattoo. Yes you read right; My daughter is giving me a tattoo at Christmas.

Now I hear you all saying ‘What the?’ There was a time when only Bikers and their women tattooed people. Well this time has passed with the help of these biker tattooists. They are a lot smarter than people give them credit for (just take a look at their web sites); they have caught the trend and cashed in on it.

Not only are the professional tattooists offering their designs and stencils for personal use; they are providing them for commercial use. They are also offering the revolutionary ‘Learn to Tattoo’ Course. A first that I am aware of. I was so impressed with these sites i had to share them with fellow future tattooists and those looking for a quality original tattoo. They also offer opportunities for people who can design new tattoos.

My daughter Jessie has wanted to be a tattooist for as long as I can remember. She is my only Daughter! Instead of having dreams like Barbie; she is more like Lady Ga Ga or Pink (except a little more feminine

To help her reach her dreams I started searching for courses and ideas on how to get her started. What I found just amazed me! I am now a part of that tattoo community and have linked my daughter into this new approach to tattooing. I have to congratulate the creators of this community for their acceptance and initiative.
