Jumpstyle is a music and dance genre, which started in early 90 ‘. Jumpstyle is very similar to the Chicago Hard House and Shuffle. Two DJ’s from Belgium made their own musical numbers in which they had modified it slightly and made it more “jump” friendly. Back in year 2005, the dance really began growing and spreading all around the world. All the way to Holland, where DJ’s (Ruthless and Vorwerk) did the music tracks which entered the Top 40 in 2007.

Jumpstyle dancing:

Jumpstyle have evolved a lot in the recent 3 year. Back when it was made it was named Jumpstyle because you danced to Jumpstyle music. Now dance Mon it the music you like. (Typical: Jumpstyle, Techno, Hardstyle, House, Or Dance)

There are now more genres of the dance: Hard Jump, Jump Side, Tekstyle. now call it dance for Jump instead of Jumpstyle because Jumpstyle is single music.

Patrick Jumpen is one of the most famous Jumpstylers in the world. He’s dance is Old School Jumpstyle. But the best Jumpers in the World is the Polish and Russian Jumpers Jump that has made Jumpstyle a sport where they do “Meet ups”. At these “meet ups” they make competitions and battle each other.

For example “RMF MAXX” is a very popular team in Poland. This team is sponsoring the Jumpstyle group mentioned earlier.

The most sophisticated genre of Jumpstyle may be Sidejump or Hardjump (Freestyle).

Might be because it’s been an underground dance for a long time. I discovered 1 year ago and learned it. I’ll make an article with some info about the dance and I might as well give you some links so that you can see how it’s done, and how to learn it! :)
