Fulfilling Conversation

Fulfilling Conversation

My thoughts on religion through illustrated in photoshop art.

As a child I grew up with out a father, I often turned to our Heavenly Father for guidance and support. I remember I would sit on the edge of my bed, looking just to the left of me, talking to Jesus. I truly, at that youthful time, thought that he was right there sitting on my bed with me. Anytime I needed a father figure his ears were always open, always there never judged me. After my wonderful fulfilling conversation, I often found myself pleasantly lost in thought, wondering how the stars were placed so delicately above. I must have been 9 years old when I decided I was going to illustrate my visions of god creating the universe and all that is.

As a work in progress, this aspiration has turned from a few illustrations to a journey through my vision of the beginning and some fantasy aspects such as Gods room to Gods pocket.

This piece is just a small clip of the collection.

Peace flower

This illustration named Peace flower is a clip from “Gods Room.” The photo is not in works now, and will represent the garden of clouds lining the outer rim of what I call “Gods Room.”

Path

This illustration is not involved with the previous two. I created this piece while thinking about where we began and where we will end. The broken black circle in the back represents an eye looking upon us as we wander through life. The flame deep within the Cross represents the beginning. I am sure I don’t need to mention here the cross represents Jesus. And as per the title, the undulating rays curling from the cross represent to me the paths we can choose a human. Some paths short and full circle, some rocky and long others may just end up nowhere.

Enjoyed this. I really liked ‘planting the stars’, both the picture and the name.

Beautiful art! The Christian Church used to be the commissioner of art – and as well of the Cathedrals – absolutely amazing works of architecture.

In this day and age, churches (especially Evangelical) are always running on tight budgets. We have become quite practical – possibly because of always living under the microscope of nonbelievers who love to point out every bit of money spent on nonessentials.
