Susan Boyle deserves to be viewed and to be heard by millions of people around the world because she is an inspiring individual.
Ms. Susan Boyle’s was an inspiring contestant of Britain’s Got talent. She stunned the world with her voice as she sang, I dreamed a dream of Les Miserables. Her wonderful song surprised the audience and watchers of the show. The judges were also amazed and even Simon Cowell, whom we think was so hard to please, was mesmerized by her unexpected voice.

Inspiring Lesson 1: Age doesn’t matter when it comes to talent.
Ms. Boyle’s showed people that even though she is already forty seven, she can still make her dream a reality.

Many will ask, why are people searching for Ms.Susan Boyle on the web and why would anyone be interested on someone like her?
They don’t know that like a good song, a talented person will still stand out even if the package doesn’t look very attractive.
Now even people who were not interested with Les Miserables started to search for the song lyrics of I dreamed a dream because they heard it sang by Ms. Boyle.
Inspiring Lesson 3: If you got talent show it and be an inspiration.

I think it is very sad that people were astonished that an older, less attractive woman was able to sing so well. Why shouldn’t she?
I read that in the 60’s group, the Mamas and the Papas, Cass Wilson was so ashamed to share the stage with Michelle Phillips that she at first would sing from backstage. What a sad commentary on our society that women who are larger should not be seen, even when they have so much talent.
We get so used to Hollywood standards: that you have to look a certain way in order to be a success. The music industry has also become snobbish, since singers must be packaged and sold, and of course, sex sells.
I will be interested in following the story to see if Ms. Boyle is able to launch a singing career.

I am a new Susan Boyle fan- I love her confidence, she inspires me. And those people who were making faces when she came out- I want to slap them.
It’s not just her age, it’s her looks they were sneering at, as well.

I just listened to an early recording of Susan’s Cry Me a River and she shows she can sing jazz remarkably well. This lady has really got it and I hope she goes far.
How can you not like someone who has a cat named Pebbles?
In hard times, I think the world is ready for some reality and some real people, over the marketed stars that may look like models but are shorter on true talent.

I dont care what anyone says she was fabulous and I suspected something was afoot. I try never to judge a book by its cover and to be quite honest Im part Scot and she definitely has the Scot facial features and she is lovely in her own right.
She also has an inner soul to.
God Bless her and may He look out for her in the negative world of music. I hope she holds onto her faith as well and at 40 something she keeps that Scot common sense in the business as well.
Susan we wish you creative success and I wish all of us here on Triond the same success.

I agree 100% with this. I saw this performance and the reaction of the crowd before she sang did sum up the way we treat (particularly women) older people. Although at 47 she is not over the hill – (certainly not from where I am standing) but to the youth mad culture of celebrity she would be seen as past it.
When she sang I was speechless – I just hope that she now finds some real satisfaction and happiness in her life and someone protects her from the ravages of the media.
