Ever wondered how those fancy photographers take pictures like this:

Yeah, they probably use expensive lighting and professional studio, right?

WRONG!

Those pictures were taken with one light only .

Picture 1)  NIKON SB800 pointed into ceiling positioned about half meter back of the model in a room 2m height so that light reflects from all the walls and bring some soft nice shadowless light onto models skin.

Size of the “studio” was 4 x 6 x 2 meters

Picture 2) NIKON SB800 on umbrella stand at 45º degree from the left of the model (1/8 power) about meter and half from the model. Background was just a black muslin that I bought for some 35.00$.

Since there is not any reflecting lights from ceiling or walls, size of the room is not relevant.
