Three Pictures are Worth Three Thousand Words
If a picture is worth one thousand words, then three pictures must be worth more. Get out your camera and get inspired by three photos I found and really enjoyed.
I came across three photos that I found stunning, while looking for photos to use on other sites. I did not know what to do with them but really wanted other people to be able to see these pictures and hopefully find a similar enjoyment in them as I have. All these pictures show images that are man made, in one way or another, yet are totally different, and totally wonderful.
This is a stunning garden in Scotland, called the Garden of Cosmic Speculation. What I like about this photo are several factors. I adore the fact that while there are people in the scene to give you a sense of proportion, they don’t litter the picture and are not the focus of attention. The time of year is spring, the trees are just in bloom, which adds a nice touch too, and the sky being gloomy rather than bright blue I find enhances the photo. The red bridge in the background is a nice touch. I remember when I was taking painting lessons at one time, somebody recalled hearing that you should always have a touch of red in every painting. Nobody remembered why, but it does add a nice touch here too. I wonder if anyone has ever driven the lawn mower into the pond?

This photo is not only interesting in design of the structure, but the structure is reportedly believed to be a house built by a blind man! This is in the African country of Ghana, in the Tongal Hills, which are near Bolgatanga. The house is particularly beautiful because it uses natural elements in a pleasing way, the rocks and branches add great interest to the over all composition of the photo as well as the structure of the house. While we often marvel at the architecture in our modern world, sometimes primitive structures are equally admirable. I would love to see what the inside looks like. The photo is good because there is nothing cluttering the scene, it might have been more interesting if the “builder” was in the photo, but then again, that might have distracted from the picture, which is by Dave Ley, from Wikimedia.

If somebody were to propose a scientific method of creating a hybrid animal such as this, I would surely oppose it. However in this Photoshop, photomontage, mutant picture the combination of a Grasshopper and Rabbit works really well. The person took the time to make sure the green matched and even added the little nodules onto the ears to make it look somewhat like grasshopper skin. The detail is exacting and exquisite. I am sure you could fool some people with this picture. This image was made by Nevit Dilmen, from Wikimedia.

You might think that three photos is hardly anything, but three fantastic photos are a lot. I think these are three fantastic photos. Maybe not the sharpest, or the highest “quality” but visually very interesting, and show you do not have to have the top rated camera to take good pictures. (Although the bottom picture was certainly done with an excellent camera, and excellent Photoshhop skills, the creativity is within everyone. These pictures are not the result of luck, being in the right place at the right time to catch a moment of dramatic action. They are simply photos to enjoy. None of which I have seen spammed on the Internet (until now). If a picture is worth a thousand words, than I have given you over three thousand, and hopefully given you some reason to pick up your camera and see what you can find to photograph.

These are excellent photos! My favorite is also the pond. I bet the rest of the Garden of Cosmic Speculation is just as beautiful. If you have anymore pictures of this place, perhaps you could write another article about it. These photographs were definitely worth a thousand words a piece. Great job!!!! Can’t wait to see more of your articles!!!
