How can I say that I am one to interpret art?  I can not say.  I can only give my interpretation and allow you to read it and digest what I am saying.  So I go on to interpret the Famous Leonardo Da Vinci… Mona Lisa.

I have heard that this elegant painting is a self-portrait of the man himself as he imagined being a woman.  Some say he cross dressed.  Some say he was a homosexual.  Well, of those things, I don’t know.  

I do look in to Mona’s eyes and they looked fixed upon their target.  She smiles a cool smile that says “I know something that you do not know.”  It makes me smile upon looking at her.  She is a lady of beauty.  Whether the muse be a man or not.

This lady is poised yet relaxed.  I love the gentle nature of the portrait.  I love the way her hands are placed so elegantly at her side.  It is exquisite.  Beautiful, even.

I look at the background of the picture and wonder if she was in front of a portrait of some kind.  Was she in hell.  The background seems to be barren land with jacked mountains and a lava stream!  Kind of amazing!  Sort of dreary.  Makes me wonder what was going on in Da Vinci’s mind.
