Every family dreams of a nice and ideal place to live in. we want a place which is peaceful, livable and has plenty of natural resources. A healthy place is a wealth of every member of the family and community. Clean surrounding is the primary concern of every citizen. We dream of fresh air coming from the big trees and a vast rice field. The abundance of food must come from the people’s initiative. All of these dreams can be attained if everybody will give a share in developing our environment. We need to work hand in hand and do the job religiously. Let us make our share as citizens.

Youths can be an instrument to the beautification projects in the locality. They can move mountains if they like to encourage the old ones. As a youth like you, instead of engaging to play, why not consume a little of your time to do productive projects? Initiate a program such as the one above. It would encourage cooperation of the old folks which will eventually lead to helping our Mother Earth. The problem of garbage disposal is so serious nowadays. No more towns will be a dumping place. Your yard is the not the answer to the garbage of everybody. You can make some awakening process by which our surrounding is everybody’s concern.

Mural painting is another way of expressing your concern towards the problem in your community. Messages that need to be known are very appropriate to be drawn in walls or any public places. The effects of illegal drugs, for example, are known by many and yet there are still people who use it. Not only will it affect the user or the image of the community but also its harmful effect to the environment. This is an awakening process to remind people who are at loss. A mural painting is a very effective reminder to people who don’t want to accept realities. This can also be done in big papers, boards or streamers tacked in walls.

Anyone can send messages to everyone. We are all dreaming for a clean and healthy society. This is the time to give that message to the public.
