For those who are unaware of the work of Banksy, Banksy is an unknown artist who started by painting street graffiti in the UK, and became known as the “urban guerilla artist”. He now has international acclaim and his studio works fetch very high prices.
Unfortunately the prices of the works in this exhibition were not displayed in the catalogue or on the web but were shown as £POA (Price On Application)

CJ this was unknown to me , the first pic reminded me of Rockwell for some reason. I do love Rockwell but this guy is unbelievable too.

Banksy has some refreshing ideas, worth checking out. Very talented wonderful man, I am tired of art that has to match the sofa or look pretty all the time – also tired of people who think having a pile of rotting tampons makes them an artist.

The dude is cool, great link. I found his canvas painting (at the top – the chair) less original than is graffiti type things.

It’s amazing how Banksy has transformed from an anti-social vandal into a internationally reknowned artist. His works are amongst the best modern art in the world today. I guess it’s only a matter of time before his identity is revealed. Nice review, CJ.
