Shoe House (Pennsylvania, United States)
The Haines Shoe House in Hellam, Pennsylvania, USA, along the Lincoln Highway. As a form of advertisement, Mahlon Haines, a shoe salesman was built this shoe-shaped house. in 1948.
Cubic Houses (Rotterdam, Netherlands)

The Cube houses, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, are located beside the Blaak Subway Station on Overblaak Street. The idea of these cube houses came about in the 1970 and designed by architect Piet Blom in 1984.
The Fallingwater, in Pennsylvania (USA)

The Fallingwater House, in Pennsylvania, USA, is one of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s most acclaimed works. It was designed in 1936 for the Pittsburgh Family which is the key to the setting is the waterfall.
The Steel House, in Lubbock (Texas, USA)

The Steel House, in Lubbock Texas, USA. Robert Bruno is the Architect and sculptor was building this strange house out of 110 tons of steel. He spent 23 years for building this giant pig looks-like steel house.
The Pickle Barrel House, in Michigan (USA)

The Pickle Barrel House is located in Grand Marais, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Its design is based on cartoon characters, with a two-story cabin. It was built of two barrels and connected by a pantry.
The Crooked House (Sopot, Poland)

The Crooked House is located in the Rezydent shopping center in downtown Sopot, Poland. The polish architecture in this unusual house with 4,000 square meter has become the most photographed building in Poland. It takes only 11 months to finished this house, started in January 2003 to December 2003. The architecture of this house was based on the illustrations of Jan Marcin Szancer (Fairy Tale illustrator), drawings of Per Dahlberg (Swedish painter living in Sopot) and Szotynscy Zaleski (the “brain”, Polish architect of the Crooked House).
Wooden Gagster House (Archangelsk, Russia)

This Wooden Gagster House was built by a one-time gangster, Nikolai Sutyagin. He has become a contender for the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s tallest wooden house. If you come closer, it loos like Brobdignagian tree house and a mix of a wicked fairytale character’s lair, but from a distance it bears a resemblance to a Japanese pagoda.

Great pics. I wish I had pursued my degree in architecture. Who knows, I would have invented a bizarre house of my own. I’d love to do a spaceship house, something that can fly to outer space now that the earth is in danger of destruction.
