Too many a time has the Archibald prize not been awarded because the judges thought no one deserved it which I think is stupid because these people work their backsides off? The Judges aren’t even proper judges there just trustees from the New South Wales Gallery.

The Prize money isn’t that great either a measly $50,000 for a full years work. Sometimes there isn’t even a winner. It use to be about the glory of winning the great and prestigious event which is the Archibald Prize. But now the Archibald Prize has been corrupted by the money and power hungry people.

$50,000 is wasted on a dying past time, no one cares for art anymore. Technology is taking over the world and were still stuck with the all primitive art. $50,000 is a lot of money to use on a winner. That money could much better be spent on a charity which fights world poverty or spent on a cure for cancer not on a corrupt art prize winner.
