Modern equipments have changed old printing methods into modern printing and animation methods with new technology and software playing their role, but still old ways of printing have proved worth in the field of arts.

One of the famous woodblock printing specimen is “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” produced by Hokusai of Japan.

This woodblock was printed in 1832 and is the most famous work of Hokusai.

“The Great Wave off Kanagawa” shows the creation on woodblock reflecting the gigantic wave moving towards the boats. The waves are created due to wind on the surface of the ocean in the area near Mount Fuji.

The copies of this woodblock printing can be viewed in different collections around the world in United States, United Kingdom, and France etc.
