Monopoly and Risk are both fun and time-consuming games, some may even say that they are complicated.  I believe that this is all true but, what similarities lie in each game, or what differences separate these two games?

Monopoly is a game of business domination.  In Monopoly, one must obtain large amounts of property to keep from going bankrupt.  Players take turns and go around the board until an even takes place such as buying land, or drawing a card or paying something to someone else.  What ever the event may be it involves the trading of money.

Risk is the game of global domination.  In Risk, one must obtain large amounts of countries and try to stay alive (keep from being concurred).  Players take turns attacking other players and taking over countries.  Players may also draw a card, complete a mission, and set reinforcement.

In each game one must obtain large amounts of land, attack (buy), defend (morgage and buying hotels and houses), and try and eliminate (an)other player(s).

The differences of each game are the layout, soldiers instead of money or the other way around, attacking countries (buying land), defending countries (morgaging and buying hotels and houses), countries (properties), and reinforcements (money).

In both games one must dominate, cause mayhem to others, and expand your empire!
