I’ve always been a lover of board games. These games make you think, and simple measure of pleasure is often too addicting. They are games of great social importance and are a ton of fun to play when you have friends. I can not think of all the games I played with friends growing up as a child, and I know that these are some of the greatest memories of my childhood.
Maybe you have memories like yourself, and it is important not to lose sight of these if you are currently raising children. With all new technologies for entertainment, sometimes it is best to get back to basics and give your kids some games that you know they will appreciate. Give them a bit to find the pleasures of your childhood that made it so enjoyable. Here are three games you can play with them or buy them to play with their friends.
3. Scattergories. This game, which requires you to make words unique category starting with a letter, is a great game. Not only does it require quick thinking, but the element of the timer tells them to do things under pressure.
2. Stratego. A strategy game that requires great levels of thought is also incredibly addictive.
1. Monopoly. The board game par excellence. I could not imagine a childhood without this game, and I hope that your children have been exposed to the joys of Monopoly. It is simply not the same when played on a computer, so I hope they have the real thing.
