Okay so when making a deck there are three simple steps that you must follow to make a great deck.

     First are staples. These are the most important part of the deck. They are cards that fit into almost any deck no-matter what the theme. Currently the best staples are Mystical Space Typhoon, Solem Jugdment, Heavy Storm, Compulsary Evacuation Device,  Bottemless trap whole, Sangan and Gorz. These cards are very important because theeir effects are very effective and do not need complex requirements to summon.

     Secondly you must come up with a theme. this could be a element, such as fire or earth, a type, such as warriors or zombies, or an archetype, like elemental heros or blackwing monsters. It could also be set around a sort of goal like a mill deck (making your opponent deck out). You should get monsters, spells and traps from that suport that theme and add them to your deck.
