I think that poker tables are a must have, it is good to have a proper sturdy freestanding poker table that can be set up in any room or garage. I myself am not a fan of the cheap poker table tops that you just dump on your kitchen table, i think its much better to get your friends to chip in, and get a proper good table with legs. This way you could set the table up in the lounge and bring in a few chairs and play some poker and watch TV, (what could be better?)

I started off with a folding table top, but me and my friends got a bit fed up with it because it would be always sliding around on the kitchen table and falling off every time someone rests their arms on it. With a proper table, you can rest your arms on it without effecting the table or moving it.

I love having a poker table because it gives you an amazing visual theme aswell, and with the chips and cards on the table, it looks very professional and amazing and gives off a great vibe to get into a poker mood.
