Four Never-before-heard L.t. Puzzles
Unsolved Lateral Thinking Puzzles – try if you can solve them!
We are both trying here, believe me; this is my first attempt at writing lateral thinking puzzles of which I am already half-addicted to, and you (I HOPE) will try to answer them. These are currently the ones I’m confident of sharing right now from my works, hence the small number and the title.
If you would like to try an answer, do so by posting them as comments-I’m sorry, no emails. I’ll answer them by comments also, and will periodically check up on my humble article (I have no personal computer with Internet connection-I just use computers at Internet café’s.) If someone gives the correct answer, I’ll acknowledge it and send him/her a detailed explanation of the answer.
Good luck! …and enjoy. =)
- A servant digs up an object of great value, and gives it to his master. However, the master is not pleased, though he takes it, and proceeds to fire the servant.
- A half-naked man whips himself as he walks the streets of the town. A woman comes out of a house, sees him, and exclaims, “My goodness! I cannot pay the electric bill today!”
- In her mice-infested house, Jenny guides a snake to eat mice using only her thumbs
- Johnny is playing chess against Fritz, and after his every move hits a bar. His sister comes along, sees they are evenly matched, and says, “Don’t hit the bar; you’ll lose!”

puzzle 1: maybe the servant damaged the treasure in some way and rendered it useless to his master? so he got angry and fired him?

nice one, that! but nope. it’s value was not diminished in any way, and you would be surprised that’s why the master got angry. =)

ok..
puzzle no. 1: it’s actually a well-known story, but to name it’s genre in literature is to give it away.
puzzle no. 2: this bizarre scene is mostly seen in catholic countries
puzzle no. 3: the first statement is not important in relation to the correct answer.
puzzle no. 4: one of them is not alive.
go boy! =)
