Germany Puts Together Something Big
15,000 Germans put together the largest puzzle in the world.
Some towns put all their pride in sports, some put it on other things no one would ever think. For instance, Ravensburger in Germany loves putting together puzzles. One resident said, “We love puzzling.” Don’t believe it? Well about 15,000 Germans put together the largest puzzle in Ravensburger. The puzzle totals 1,141,800 pieces. The old record was set in 2002 in Singapore with 212,353 pieces. The town’s request for their puzzle to be in the Guinness Book of World Records has not yet been approved but will be most likely very soon.

Everyone is probably wondering how could this be possible. Well the participants assembled more then 4,000 individual puzzles of simple things like animals and nature scenes. The individual puzzles included 252 pieces each. Then all of the individual puzzles were taken to the town square where they combined all of the individual puzzles to make a massive, world record, single puzzle. The size of the puzzle was a ridiculous 65-foot by 95-foot.
The town of Ravensburger did this in celebration of the town’s 125th year of operation.
