Dungeons and Dragons

You dream of a wonderful adventure? You wanna play a wizard, priest or warrior? Dungeons and dragons is for you! Read this text and you’ll go to bed with incredible thoughts!

Dungeons and Dragons

What classes to choose? Druid or Warrior? Bard or Illusionist? What race is the most profitable? Should we become an elf, gnome, a dwarf, halfelin, or simply human? It is among others the questions which I shall answer in this text. Know a thing(matter) … It is certain that you will go to bed more educated this evening!

The Classes

In Dungeons and Dragons, there are several classes. The basic classes are as the case may be the warrior, the witch, the priest and the archer, says ranger. To make simple, every class possesses its virtues as its defects. Let us take for example the witch and the warrior, two classes literally opposite: the warrior will have a strength and an outstanding constitution, whereas they are the weak points of the witch. On the other hand, the witch possesses an incredible intelligence (the warrior reaches of punishment(effort) and poverty(misery) to recognize a squirrel of a raccoon!) and what succeeds in attacking(affecting) at distance, what the warrior will never succeed in making, unless he is equipped with a bow, naturally.

Furthermore, the witches obtain according to the levels of the not unimportant skills, some to put to sleep the opponent, or still to climb on walls, such a spider, and to lock a door. But another difference is imperative(leads) in the comparison: the health points. The health points of the warrior are in the highest of the game(set, play), whereas the witch no top the same step 10. A thoughtful strategy would place the warrior forward and the witch in retreat(withdrawal), which would attack(affect) at distance. To continue, let us speak about the priest. This character takes place slightly between the warrior and the witch, in what concerned the points of skill. But the priest surpasses them widely in wisdom, the same attribute which allows them to throw(launch) fates(spells) of life and kindness. Contrary to those of the witches, these fates(spells) do not attack(affect), but rather cure and send back(dismiss) the zombies underground! They possess all in all a talisman foreseen for that purpose.

Races

There are many classes, but what to make of our physical appearance(physics)? Of our skills? Races are for it there. To begin, I should say that every race has its or its best adapted classes. For example, an elf longs as well to become an archer that the dwarf not to become a witch. A halfelin will have inevitably no its place as priest but will crush his opponents by becoming a thief. Now, let us decipher some races one by one. In the first place, the elves. Endowed with an incredible intelligence and with a quasi-supernatural dexterity, these creatures were born to become witches or archers. The constitution and the wisdom are in them main weak points, because the elves are frail and of an extreme vanity, what removes all which would have been able to have of wisdom in their person there.

Halfelins possesses an execrable constitution and a strength, but an incredible dexterity and a charisma! The brilliant objects make their enjoyment, what by way of magnificent thieves or cunning, because they will tempt by all the means to obtain what they want. Them techniques of silent march surpass those the other races. Let us pass now to the dwarf. This young to be surly is unintelligent but is scheduled(programmed) in the mode “fight”. His muscles of steel, which confer him(her) an extraordinary strength, are him of a big help in several situations. The skin is very thick (a depth which, in certain cases, block arrows!). Although they are excellent in the hand-to-hand fight, they lose all their means when comes the time to think. Also let us forget the points of charisma, but, after all, if we confer himspécialié warrior’s title in axes or the other tranchantes weapons, the race of the dwarf is extremely powerful. Let us finish with the human being, which(who), according to me, is the most common races. What I want to say there is because he(it) has no advantage or disadvantage connected with his(its) race, what makes it, after all, a rather commonplace being but what takes very well its place(square) at time(weather) when priest or monk.

Adaptation and Divinities

The attributes and the race, it’s good, but let us look more in depth, if you want it.

The adaptation is rather special, mainly for the priest and the witches. These, because it is this last one who will decide on the creature that they will summon (by spell or the other one) and the priests, because it is the adaptation which dictates their actions. Before continuing these explanations, I explain you that is the adaptation and the divinities in Dungeons and Dragons.

The adaptation is what dictates our actions; we cannot go against our adaptation. He(it) parts in two parts(parties): the nobility and the kindness. A character can be is noble or chaotic as well as good or bad. Strangely, we can be chaotic good, or on the contrary noble bad. The nobility is the fact of respecting the laws and the rules established by king or the shape of authority. Thus, Chaotic one Good can do good, even if it does not respect rules. If he judges that the law does not respect its values, Chaotic Good in fact that in the head. On the other hand, The Noble Bad follows rules but often uses them to hurt or grow rich. He(it) does not leave a friend behind and always finishes what he(it) began.

A Noble Check is simply law-abiding and acted in consequences and Chaotic one Bad is all the opposite: unreliability, wickedness… He(it) exists in Dungeons and Dragons a variety of stranger gods some than the others. One worships nécromanciens whereas the other one can protect the fauna and the flora. As the character, the god has an adaptation (really, it is the chosen god who gives the adaptation to the player). There is a god for every race, every class and for certain things as the wealth, the generosity, the love…

Here is! It is what what concludes this summary of the various options that the role play Donjons and Dragons for his(her) characters offers. I hope that you appreciated. Naturally, if you reached the end, I believe that yes! I wish of any heart that it will give you envy(urge) to begin or to pursue the magnificent adventure that is this game(set, play)!
