Perhaps  you have caught the phrase. When you suspect that someone has lost the track of time, you ask him some supposedly popular questions which you think everybody should know about. And the name of the President of United States of America is one of those questions.

Why? Think about it, it is indeed a very powerful title. The man at that position is considered to be the most powerful human being on earth and his decisions have the potential to directly change our lives. So you know about the title, and you know at least the name of the person who has it.

But, if you were really a time traveler and went back 30 years in time, and somebody  thought there is something weird about you and asked the name of the President, would you be able to answer it? The real question here is, do you really care who the President of USA was 30 years ago?

Don’t worry, I will skip deriving philosophical conclusions to directly tell you what I am trying to tell you about online gaming: Don’t try to be a legend, because nobody cares and nobody will remember you in the next round.

My experience tells me that those players who have opened a wide gap from the average point of the game are very probably using some extra measures, and some of these measures are even considered as cheating. Well, I am not here to judge anybody, at least not now, but I really want you think if it worth it or not.

Are you trying to be the best player in the game? Are you trying to be a legend?Well, it is cool to have some ambitions but you should really ask yourself: what for? Or more importantly, for what cost? I know that watching your name climbing up the list of fame is part of the fun, but you should really be very careful about the line when it becomes not fun anymore but something else, a vain ambition. Because nobody really is going to remember your name in the next round, and I seriously doubt that people care about it even in the present round. Because everybody wants the same thing, having some fun time with the online game they are playing with, and they don’t really care how great the others have progressed. So stick to the main plan, and that is: having some fun.
