Defining Goal

Defining Goal

Commonly worries of graduating students who are in their secondary level and those graduating in their college.

What would I be 10 years from now ? Have you ever heard this to someone ? I’m sure you’ve heard it many times not only in a single person, sometimes even to yourself you’ve asked this already.  Mostly of the graduating students frequently asked this questions to their self.  They are the individuals who are worried on their future years after they graduated.

Commonly, worries of the secondary level student falls on deciding which road to take that will lead them to their happiness and will give them satisfaction.  Is it the road where you will earn money immediately at your very young age or the road that will lead you to more stable and secured position, which is studying.

How about those in their college, what are their concern ? Aren’t they feel secured that after graduation whatever happen to them surely they will land a job because they are already a degree holder ? Security speaking ? ” Yes!” they are secured enough but how about their feelings ? How about the passion on their work ? This is what some of the college students worried about, not all of them took up the course they are now studying because this is what they really want ever since, it is because some of the students were only forced to do it because of their parents, influence of friends, media, environment or sometimes it is only because of the security they’re looking for.

Example of security-seeker is taking up educational course, after you graduated all you have to do is to take the teachers examination to be licensed one, after passing this exam you are now a certified teacher, teachers are very in demand nowadays so their is nothing for you to worry about because you are sure that wherever you go or live you know you can find a job because of your educational attainment, and that is the security that some of the students are looking for.

And now for the insight, is that person happy with what he/she have chosen ?  It is said that people are the makers of their fate, and in this situation he/she made his/her fate by deciding to be a teacher whether he/she likes it or not.  In this experienced even if we don’t get what we initially wanted, we can still find fulfillment in a different situation if we just change our outlook in life.

Still, it is best if you define your goals early on and go for it.  If your loved ones interfere don’t lose your hope just go on and show them that you are not making a wrong decision and won’t end as a loser regretting every opportunity that you wasted.  After all it is only at the beginning where you can hear lots of criticism and discouragement from those people that you least expecting those words to hear, it is only because they love you and care for you and wants only the best for you.

But keep in mind, finding something that you really like to do as well as putting passion in every activity without thinking of the financial rewards will unmistakably yield good results.

Before you take your first career step, you must first to define your goal.  It should be something that will bring long-term happiness and stability in your life.  Otherwise, you will regret your decisions.  As soon as you discover that you’re not happy with what you’re doing, change it if it won’t affect many.  But if you feel that you can be happy even if what you’re doing is not in line with your original goal then accept it as your fate.  Be true to yourself and success will surely follow you.
