As a college student, my life is similar to that of an elementary school classroom: a shitload of things going on with very little direction. I am currently a biology student, although I really have no idea what I want to do with my life. I’ve always been interested in politics and I’ve done very well in politcal science courses, but I don’t really know if I wanna do that. I keep telling myself that I want to be a doctor, but really is that what I want to do? Do I want to spend the next ten years of my life in school just so that I can get a stressful job? Hell, all I want to do is sit at home all day and drink alcohol, smoke pot, watch tv, and play video games, but I know there has to be a lot more for me. I think I should go out there and save the world, but how should I do it? I want to make lots of money, but how should I do it? I think as young people we really have no idea what we want to do, we just kind of drift into doing things, whether or not we are actually happy doing those things. I think we all have a certain gift that will lead us to a happy life. So in the meantime, here’s to playing Halo 3 all day and watching youtube!
