Traditional School vs Long Distance

Traditional School vs Long Distance

Which way is better? Traditional classroom setting or long-distance at home schooling? I have done both.

I managed to get through three years of traditional classroom college. But even that wasn’t completely traditional. The college I was going has a traditional campus but it also has smaller campuses in certain areas. And they have one at Ft. Stewart, GA. I was there for a time and decided I wanted to get my B.S. in Criminal Justice. They had it setup so that you went to class once a week for a five hour session for a total of eight weeks.

I was able to pay attention to the teacher for the first week or two and then I’d end up either reading or writing during the rest of the classes. I still got a passing grade, in most of the classes. After getting about three years of work, I decided I needed a break. I was bored out of my mind.

For a few years I didn’t do any kind of schoolwork. And then last years I hooked up with a long distance school. I started in June of last year and completed it last month. I got to set my own pace. I enjoyed it. And if I needed a break, I took a break. I now have a certificate diploma for a Private Investigator. So, which is better?
