Disney Channel has gone beyond Mickey Mouse fame and grows bigger year by year.  The Disney Channel network has helped to launch some of today’s biggest and brightest superstars of the teen generation.  

     Twin siblings Dylan and Cole Sprouse have grown up before our eyes to star on two Disney Channel television series.  They brought Zack and Cody Martin to life on “The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody.”  Now, they shine on “The Suite Life On Deck.”  The immense  popularity of such stars as Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu. Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron are shining examples of sudden Disney Channel fame.  ”High School Musical” exploded on to the Disney Channel scene and catapulted its rising stars to superstardom.

     Miley Cyrus has also come into her own and skyrocketed to the top as :Hannah Montana.”  It has not always been a smooth road to success for Miley who has had her share of media scandal and adversity in the past.  Miley has faced ample obstacles, misfortunes, and accomplishments in her young life.  Fame doesn’t come without its price.  Miley’s “Hannah” costars Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso have also had their own taste of Disney Channel success in their own rights.

     Another dynamic example of Disney Channel’s rocket to fame is seen in the young stars of “The Wizards Of Waverly Place.”  Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin dazzle us with their winning magical brother and sister camaraderie and wizardry antics.  Disney Channel has also inroduced us to the brilliant talents of Selena Gomez’s best friend, Demi Lovato.  Demi burst into our hearts and the Disney Channel limelight in “Camp Rock.”  Now, Demi is starring in her own Disney Channel series, “Sonny With A Chance.”

     One of the biggest and fastest rising groups to make it big on Disney Channel is the phenomenal Jonas Brothers.  Real life brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas delight millions of Disney Channel fans with their musical talents.  Now, just like their “Camp Rock” co-star Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers also have their own series called “Jonas.”

     What can be next for the Disney Channel viewing audience?  Superstars get bigger, brighter, bolder, and younger with each new Disney Channel project.  Is this what the great Walt Disney had in mind for the future of Disney?  What began with Mickey Mouse has turned into the era of Disney superstardom for many talented Disney performers.  What a time it would be to be a shareholder in the Disney company!
