Is Religion Really a Big Deal in Catholic Schools?

Sure the catholic schools has they’re regulations about dating and so forth of the students but where does it draw the line?

Earlier within the past week and a half there was an article in the webpage on Yahoo to do with a student attending a catholic school and he apparently was invited to go to a prom with his girlfriend, the school had found out and had told him if he went to the prom he would be suspended from school for it. So I guess what really disturbs me the most is where does the catholic schools get by with telling any student who they can and cannot go to a prom with as long as it’s not in school?

Outside of school what a student does is his or hers business and theyre parents not the schools if a kid so chooses to go to a prom, or some kind of rally that the catholic doesnt approve of than so be it the catholic can shove it if they think they can tell our kids who they can and cannot go some prom with then they can start paying for the care of our children and raise them as long as im payin for my kid to go to school and theyre doing what theyre suppose to you can damn well bet theyre gonna be allowed to go to a prom and no catholic school is gonna stop them from doing so. If they think they can then they can just shove it up their ass and croak. What do you guys think was this fair for what they did to this boy or not?
