Perfect Slime Recipe
Are you ever in need for something to occupy your kids on a rainy day?
Maybe your looking for that perfect craft that will put your Halloween party over the top! Possibly you just need something fun to do with your kids just because your a great parent! Well here is your solution – SLIME!
What kid does not like to get their hands dirty, sticky, and gooey? The perfect way to do this is with SLIME! This easy to make recipe can be made in 10 minutes and yields this most exciting play glob ever! You can’t go wrong on rainy days, Halloween fun, or just for the experiment.
Do remember to let kids know not to put this in their mouths because it does contain the natural cleaner Borax!
MATERIALS:
- 2 bowls
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Warm water
- Glue
- Food coloring (optional)
- Borax
- Plastic container
Ingredients
- ¼ cup warm water
- 2 tbsp glue
- Several drops of desired color food coloring (optional)
- MIX these ingredients in ONE bowl
- ¼ cup warm water
- 1 tsp Borax
Method
- MIX these ingredients in SECOND bowl (Borax may not dissolve completely)
- POUR Second bowl (borax mixture) into first bowl (glue mixture)
- STIR until combined
- SIT for 1 minutes to activate ingredients
- PLAY
- KEEP slime in a disposable plastic container for more play later
This should yield about a 1/2 cup of slime. For a more putty like slime that will hold shape for a bit and bounce use a HEAPING tsp of borax.
