You just weren’t prepared. You didn’t study. Now you have to pay the consequences. Here are ten possible excuses for flunking the big math test.

1. I was possessed. A mysterious force that was answering all the questions wrong was guiding my hand.
2. The whole test didn’t compute. I should have turned on my brain yesterday.
3. I studied real hard. Unfortunately, I studied in the wrong chapter. Let’s just let bygones be bygones.
4. I just can’t see the angle on why I should study and be prepared
5. The test was not really important. It was only 33% of my grade.
6. Other than the fact that I didn’t show my work, write my name and date on the paper, and do any serious calculations, I did great. An E stands for excellent.
7. At least I didn’t have the lowest score. Jinx Madison did even worse on the test than me.
8. I know that I spend a lot of money at the malls, but I just can’t do story problems. Perhaps if you’d give me twenty bucks, I would be able to improve next time.
9. I kept getting Sin mixed up with Shin and Cozy mixed up with Cosign. I’m just thinking too much about my girlfriends.
