Deadly Creatures
Here are six beautiful and deadly creatures of this world that you will want to avoid. But their venoms are being used medically for humans.
Poison Arrow Frog – are found in the rainforest of Central and South America. They belong to the amphibian class and have very bright colors. These frogs carry poison on their skin and can carry paralysis or death. One frog can kill about one hundred human beings. Native hunters use this frog for the tip of their arrows to bring quick death to the animal that they hit. This is how the poison arrow frogs got their names. The chemicals in the skin can have a medicinal value as painkillers.

Boxed Jellyfish – or other known as suckerpunch are found in Australia and other tropical areas. Unlike other jellyfish that only drifts in the sea, box jellyfish hunts for its prey. Its stings can kill a human being as its stings have venoms. If stung, pour vinegar on it within 30 seconds so that the nematocyst has not yet erupted in the veins. Nematocyst’ is the stinging organs of a jellyfish.
Death Stalker – are scorpions that can be found in the dessert and scrublands of Northern Africa to the Middle East. It has a yellow color and can grow to 4.5 inches. The sting of deathstalkers is very painful and its venom can cause death to a healthy human adult. However, its venom has the potential to treat brain tumors and diabetes.

Stone Fish – are venomous and very dangerous to humans. They are found in the indo-pacific coasts and its toxins are secreted from their spine which sticks out when they are disturbed. They camouflages with the stones which is difficult for the divers to notice them.

Cone Snails – shapes like an ice cream cone and lives near a coral reef. A sting of cone snails is enough to immobilize its prey using its tooth and venomous glands. A small cone snails stings like a bee but a bigger cone snail’s sting can be fatal to human. It can penetrate even with the use of a gloves or wetsuits. Cone Snails venom however a probability to be used as a non addictive pain reliever has. Its shells can be used as a décor or jewelry.

Greater Blue Ringed Octopus – can be found only in Australia. Their venoms are bacteria’s that are produced by the salivary glands which is very serious.
