Don’t Log Me in

Don’t Log Me in

I don’t have time to be logging in and out. I have a life.

For me, writing on Triond has become like having sex with the same woman for 20 years–it has stopped being fun and has turned into a chore.  Triond has gotten into the Login kick again and yesterday, I logged in 38 times.  I have dial-up.  It’s all that’s available to me.  It’s slow.  From the time I click “Login” till I get where I’m going , two minutes have elapsed.  I spent more than an hour and a half logging in yesterday and that will never happen again.

I have had the privilege of making many friends here and frequently comment up to 100 times a day and am happy ato do so.  No more.  I had to log in to go from Community to my Inbox.  I had to log in to go from Community
to someone’s post.  I am an admitted hedonist…a pleasure seeker.  Triond is not providing me with pleasure anymore.  When I retired I was making $550.00 a week…not country club money but a living and the ariticles were tossed into my lap.  Now I have to wrack my brain to earn 20 cents a day.  This makes me certifiable.  I’m going to commit myself.  I hope someone will take up my slack and write something for Veteran’s Day on the 11th.  Adios y vaya con Dios.

I hope you won’t leave us altogether.

I don’t have the hassles of dial-up, but I have to admit it’s still a pain to login 20 times a day.

Ken, you consult someone. It’s not Triond’s problem. It is your browser’s settings. You can view your tool options to see the cookie settings etc. Get someone to do that.

I already miss your posts and you are not gone! Aggravation can become an annoying circumstance. Sorry for that situation.

I hope you don’t leave, Ken. I really enjoy your work. Maybe you just need to take a break away from Triond for a while. I’ve had to do that with an online Yahoo writing site before. After a few days I went back and I was able to enjoy writing poems to post on there again.

Hey, stop bloody moaning and get some work done!!

No really Ken I do know what you mean. I don’t have to log in at all, I have triond and a few others bookmarked in a file and I just go there and get straight on but thank god I don’t have dial up, it would drive me to suicide! and you are the one that makes me laugh… not that your funny or anything!

I also have logging in problems, one of the reasons, I do not write too much. The other reason is my own fault, because due to my health, I can’t always respond to everybodies submissions, and therefore I have a very small fan base. Such is life!

Take care, and, take heart from the fact, that we all love you.

Oh Ken! This happened to me too yesterday, but everything is fine today. Don’t give up on the site. I rely on you for my daily chuckle.
Take a short break if you need to but please come back to us.

Well Ken, it is your choice…but I don’t want you to go. Take a break, but please don’t leave. Sighs…what will it take to make you stay?

Ken, Come back and write when you want to. I get a lot of aggravation too, but evidently not as much as you. You\’re right, we should enjoy or not do it at all. But do drop by when you feel like it.We\’ll miss you.

You better just be frustrated and not mean that! I know what you mean and when it isn’t fun anymore what is the point.the log in thing would annoy the hell out of me! Don’t comment for a while. Stop wracking your brain and relax for a while my friend!

Oh come on Ken, don’t leave us. Did my rant sent you off the deep end? Please don’t leave, I would miss you.

Ha3. You see, many loves you Ken. Barbie’s still not sounding off. You made me laugh about the woman comparison. Well everything ends being fun when your system craves for it. It’s like gambling all night that you still have to keep awake to nurture the habit. Just don’t get dismayed with the system. Of course technology has its glitches. Well at least you get 20 cents. I could barely get 5 cents a day.

Hey ken, don’t leave. I really like stuffs from you specially your comments for everyone. they always make us smile.

Ken, I have a few suggestions for you:

1. Try downloading the TRIOND toolbar. It can be downloaded from the main page.

2. You should download and use Mozilla Firefox 3.4 or later as it will allow you to save your username and password.

Hope these help, and please, DON”T LEAVE US.

Ahhh Ken don’t go. We’re just getting aquainted.
If you change to a firefox browser it will speed things up. thats what I used when I had dial up and it made quite a difference. Just google firefox and you can add with minimal effort.

Wait a second…how can you compare sex and logging in to Triond?! (I don’t think it could get boring if you found the right one..but now you’ve got me on to a whole different issue lol)

Uma Shankari, posted this comment on Nov 11th, 2009

Ken, at least 23 people are saying “stay on”. That’s quite a comfort, isn’t it? Did you set it right? As I said, you have to do it.

wonder, posted this comment on Nov 12th, 2009

Stay on and keep raising the bar.

Papa Sparks, posted this comment on Nov 13th, 2009

It’s been really frustrating to say the least. The powers that be at Triond have mucked up things a bit but we need some folks like you around here. Don’t stay away too long.
