Your manual will provide you with 3 situations you may encounter during a conversation with a parent of teacher. Five very comical excuses will be listed for each situation, along with a brief description of the excuses and situation.
Why is your homework not complete?
This is a very common question that will most likely be asked by a teacher who has no obtained the work that he/she has expected to be complete. Some variations of the
question may substitute the word complete with: done of finished. The following excuses may be used whenever your homework is not complete
1. I didn’t know it was possible to work a home.
2. What homework?
3. How about you put your glasses on and take another look.
4. I forgot it thinking of how great my teacher is.
5. I can’t take the pressure.
Why didn’t you go to school?
This question is very straight-forward. This situation may occur with a teacher or parent if you were not present at your school. Variations of this question include: Why did you not go to school or Why were you not a school. Additional words may be added. Use the following excuses to explain why you weren’t present.
1. I thought it was a snow day.
2. I go to a different school now.
3. I forgot where the school is.
4. So I could try my excuses from my excuses manual.

Why is your room not clean?
Approximately every child in the world has been asked this question. This question is always issued by a parent who requires you to organize you room. Variations of the question include: I don’t see a clean room or Why didn’t you do as you were asked. Use the following excuses when you didn’t clean your room.
1. What do you consider to be clean?
2. You own the house so it’s your responsibility to clean it.
3. I was trying to learn.
4. Because I’m in my room.
5. I don’t know how.
