Five Stupid School Rules

Experiences may differ but they’re more or less the same.

  1. Dress Code

    Yes in my opinion this rule is pretty dumb mostly since they say it causes problems with your school work. I understand not being able to wear your pants down to your knees or even no being able to wear shirts that show girls boobs all the way. But there is dumb rules like no sandals come on now what does the stuff you wear on your feet have anything to do with it? Also tucked in shirts this one is said to keep kids save because this way no one can bring guns to school well trust me there is other places to hide a gun then in your waste line.

  2. No Chewing Gum

    Ok this one is pretty stupid come on this rule is enforced by some teachers but yet you bend over a little to see under the desk and you may find about 10-50 pieces of gum per desk. Come on I bet if the teachers didn’t whine about us chewing gum then we wouldn’t be afraid to simply get up and throw it away.

    well this is what we call it at my school it may change in some others. This rule is enforced when you are 1 second to late to get into your next class. They send you to the “tardy tank” were you sit there for 45 minutes staring into the wall. This rule may seem like it will teach you a lesson but let’s see. 1-it’s just a better way to skip class. 2-for being 1 second late they take away about 45 minutes of learning time and then they whine about us now doing good in school. 3-how is this supposed to help us learn a lesson?

  4. No Hitting Back

    Ok we all have to agree what the hell is wrong with the person who made this one up? Well lets think about this if you are in a fight how in the hell are you not supposed to hit back? I mean if you get punched you wont just sit there and take it now the school district says you will not get in trouble if you push back less then 2 times ummmm lets see I have 2 options 1-sit there get knocked the hell out in front of all the school then not be able to go to school for 10 days because the kid put me in the hospital or 2-hit back get 10 days suspension and then come back to school to tell the story.

  5. No Backpacks in the Gym

    Ok start off by thinking about it you go into your locker room get dressed for gym your shorts don’t have any pockets like your pants do so you stick your wallet with lets say 50 dollars inside your backpack o and don’t forget the ipod or even your psp (I do) so remember the locker room has about 100 kids in there at the same time so I personally don’t own a lock to lock in my backpack in the locker I still have the option to put my stuff in the locker with no lock but the officer says if I get my stuff stolen and there is no lock then they cant do anything about it. What is so hard about letting us take our backpacks into the gym?!

all these rules yu came up with it being stupid itz the same rule everywhere
but i agree wiv u 2
what is wrong with chewing gum is not we are gonna make mess is it these teachers don’t understand enit

well….I can kind of see the whole uniform thing..but other then that I have to agree ith everything else, like today my chem. teacher told me that if I were to chew gum “in a-real-life-job” I’d have a hance of being fired. um Im not going to take the gum and stick it on the chemicals…whatever, I don’t support dropping out, but I have a better understanding of whysome people do;stupid rules

Well don’t forget some schools will suspend you even if you get punched in a fight or if you try to break up the fight. Yah the guy trying to sop a fight deserves to be suspended or the poor guy that got punched. Dress codes are lame to like “no showing your mid drift” for girls

well you forgot to mention the ids we have to wear. to tell the truth that is controlling what we want to wear and plus the id only tells your name and what grade you are in. then its just more to keep up with. i hate when the teachers stare you down just to see if you have a id. it only leads to a another person getting in trouble. somebody wants to borrow somebody else id could lead to trouble.
