Have you ever wondered why kids can sit there and play video games for hours upon hours. Well I have. First of all Video games has replaced the backyard now days, all kids want to do is stay in the house and play on those video games. Parents say “then why buy them”? I personally never bought any video games my children get them from there grandparents. It seems as though parents are scared to let their children go out side because all of the crime. Some of those games are parental guidance and they are still bad. How can we get our kids back. I know that parents can’t entertain their children twenty four seven but if parents just take their kids to the park or do out door activities like swimming, basketball, catch let them run around play on the play ground. If you have a back yard try to make it as kid friendly as possible you don’t need a lot of money to have fun either. Pets are a good distraction from always wanting new video games or playing on current ones take them for a walk teach them how to do tricks, play the old fashion games like red light green light or red rover, London bridges falling down. I think that who ever made video games wanted to just shut kids up and that is what is making our children lazy and not as educated as they should be.  In conclusion there are other ways for children to have a good time and be active, healthy, motivated, children and hopefully parents who read this will take the time with their own kids. so there generation won’t grow up knowing more about video games than how to read and write.
