Letter to a Friend

Experiences in a new city.

Hey John! How are you? I hope you are doing better than me; I’ve been really upset since I moved to this place, I think I don’t quite fit in here everyone is really rude with me but specially one teacher of mine, I just can’t put up with her.

First of all, the first day of class she laughed at me in front of everyone because of my accent, it was an embarrassing and humiliating experience. Ever since that moment she’s been doing cruel things to me such as making racists comments about me, teasing me every time she has a chance

But the worst thing is the fact she is failing me in every test we have! even though I’m a good student she always finds the way to make me fail. I just can’t stand this anymore, my scholarship is at stake and my parents are furious.

However, I’ve already talked with the principal of my school and she promised to have a serious talk with this teacher, which by the way is her daughter in law, so as you can see I don’t know what to expect from this conflict.

Anyway, wish me the best and hope to see you soon,

Martin
