As I grew up, I cannot forget that my mom had a ton of friends because she’s always going to lots of wedding and baby showers. These things were so enjoyablefor me, even though as a child I was not really understanding the things that went on. It was fun because there were usually some other kinds whom I played with as the adults had a blast among themselves. One particular thing that I found so amazing was the concept of the money tree. A money tree has always looked different from each other but I think the reason that it exists is still the same. The money tree is made of money, well maybe more like it holds money. This money was then to be given to the bride or mother to be.

I remember one of the first money trees that I saw because it was so similar to a Christmas tree. But instead of having tinsel and bulbs, the guests decorated the money tree by attaching money with the use of rubber bands. I was 5 or 6 years old at that time and I just found this tradition entirely amazing. Imagine, it just made money grow on a tree. Personally, I did not find out until much later on that it was really the guests who attached the money there. After, I was no longer confused. As a kid, I searched lond and hard for another money tree which was growing nearby but I could not see any. As you could probably imagine, the reason is clear why I wanted to have one.

When I learned later on how money tree was being made, I was a little disappointed to tell you honestly. My mom has a great sense of humor and kidded that there really is a money tree somewhere out there that grew coins instead of dollar bills. When I came across one money tree, I was so sad. It had coins alright. but only a small part resembled the coins.

It was after so many years later that I decided that I should continue with the tradition of the money tree and use it was welcome gifts. You can do this too and it is very easy. You can tell your guests that they can put whatever amount of money they want up on the tree. It can be as much or as little money as they desire. It is truly a very special gift for brides to be or a new first time mom. The money tree can be achieved in any which way you want. I recognize that there are a whole lot of people who do not like to gift with money as gift so the money tree

does not really have to be your main gift. The money tree is just something that people can give a small or big contribution to if they want to. For sure, the celebrant will love and appreciate your money tree.
