Oh How Life Has Changed
Thoughts on Life, memories, this midsized west texas town, and friends though this town hasn’t changed much…life sure has.
Growing up I had a lot of wonderful experiences and the world seemed to be a slower place. Here in my West Texas city, we still hold on to that charm, while the city has grown it is not congested. I remember going to school with people I had known for years, each school year much like the next.
Classes, friends, not so great lunches, you know what I mean. My best friends in elementary school remained some of my best friends through Jr. High and even now I still see a few now and then.
What I loved about those days was the bonds that were forged that even time will never sever. God has blessed my life immensely, the people in my life are some of the best you’d ever want to meet. In Jr High I moved to another city, there I made tons more friends (I was there from 9th grade till the end of my High School journey) then I came back here.
I have to say I am not fond of the heat, but I Love the people. While I admit Some days I have been stressed and mad the good times have more than outweighed the bad. My parents taught me well (though some lessons took longer to learn than others and I messed up a lot along the way.)
I can’t complain about the life I’ve had, hasn’t always been great, but it hasn’t been too bad. As John Corbett says “I’m not planning on leaving yet but the truth is you just never know, if this is as good as it gets I guess I’m good to go”
I hope I have many more years ahead, oh how life has changed in the ones I have had. I want to send a shoutout to all of my family, fans and friends, you are the best I could not have asked for better that’s for sure.
Whatever life brings me now, I pray it’s great as this old west texas town, and the memories I’ve made. I keep them close.
God Bless your Souls, thank you for reading
