Why Revise?
Revision is essential for memory recall. It is the most effective way of remembering. It is most important for subjects requiring demonstration of KNOWLEDGE e.g. Maths and Science. It can also be very useful for subjects demonstrating SKILLS e.g. English.
How?
For the ultimate success follow the four stage process;
- Read through the work, from your books in previous years, learning websites and other recourses.
- Write You must transfer what you read into writing, this process is essential for your brain to begin engaging with the material and will assist recall later.

- Mind Map
- Self-Test - Check, cover, write, check. Test using websites. Test using family cards (e.g. on the fridge)
