My friends in the Philippines are busy these days. School is killing them. And you know what? They don’t even have time to chat with me. They were all too busy doing their home works of torture and death or if not that, they’re reviewing for some kind of quiz of doom. By the looks of it, they’ll have a very promising future. Unless the world ends in 2012 according to the Internet.

Well, nothing much is happening in my world of boredom and misery. These days, I remained locked up in the house, pretty much avoiding the overpriced food downtown. I was always in the house. Watching TV and surfing the net. Nothing more but that. Outside, the world moved around like I wasn’t even in it. Everyone had something important to do. And it doesn’t include being locked up in a four walled room, screaming bloody bored.

But I guess this is way better than being stuck in a four walled room called a classroom, not only is it a place where you’re forced to actually learn something, it’s also a place where students are locked up so no one can hear their screams for help while being tortured with algebra, and what the heck, geometry. If you look at my situation from the point of view of my friends in the Philippines, I’m very lucky. Thank God.

My best friend was a little lucky too, her school starts next week. She still has 7 days of freedom and fun. But then again, when that period of time ends, when her school-free days are over, who knows what school will force her to learn, trigonometry? Gross. And I thought algebra was the worst thing they could serve.

I guess, my school starts in September. I don’t have to worry about that because its still very far away. But summer school is coming though. 2 hours of pure virtual torture. But who cares right? It’s way better than 10 hours like my friends.
