Seven Best Ways to Sidetrack Your Teacher and Waste Time in Class

Seven Best Ways to Sidetrack Your Teacher and Waste Time in Class

Pick one of these seven suggestions and try them tomorrow in school. I guarantee you that you will have great success and will be stunned with the results.

  1. Ask your teacher what is was like for them to learn the topic you are supposed to be going over. Rather than go over the subject, you and the rest of the class will end up arguing over whether it is harder to learn about that topic now, or if it was harder back in those days.
  2. Come to class with something cool that you bought or got on a vacation and ask you teacher if you can show it to the class. If he/she says yes than proceed. Everyone in the class will get all fussed up that you brought something in to show them and will want to ask you tons of questions all about it. This will take a huge chunk out of you class time.
  3. Ask your teacher to tell you about there favorite vacation that they have ever been on. The teacher will most likely agree and spend time talking about their favorite vacation. When your teacher is done everyone else is going to want to talk about all of their favorite vacations. This will create a lot of questions therefore taking up a lot of time.
  4. Ask your teacher about their kids. Teachers are always going to go on and on talking about their children. This could easily be one of the most effective ways to totally get your teacher off topic from your scheduled lesson.
  5. Be a class clown. You ant to be careful with this one, but if you can pull it off than everyone will praise you like a god. Pull off some funny pranks in class to make everyone laugh and to get your teacher all stirred up. Get to the point where the teach can’t focus on anything but you. But no when you have reached the limit, when the teacher has completely had enough then stop. You have probably wasted a ton of time by then anyway.
  6. Take a class poll on something that is totally opinionated. Everyone will get crazy trying to prove their points. This will get to take a very long time. I can guarantee you that this will waste so much class time. If you are lucky then your teacher will have a strong opinion on the subject and he/she will go on and on explaining their thoughts.
  7. Start talking about something that already know that your teacher is really interested in. This will get them talking. Keep the talking going, and don’t stop asking questions. If you know before hand that it is something that your teacher knows a lot about than you can be sure that he/she will keep on answering your questions.

lol great tips. however, i employ some of these tactics already on my german teacher. I once made a teacher evaluation form and handed it out to the whole class b4 it started and he wasnt in the room yet, so wen he walked in every1 had the forms and they were evaluating him. he got freaked out and didnt know where they came from it was classic lol. also, if the teacher has more than 1 period to teach (like in my case) have a friend in an earlier period so if they talk about something then u can bring it up during ur period. lol he gets kinda mad wen i do that but the whole class wants to hear about it then so he has to give in. he keeps asking the earlier period not to leak info but he hasnt been able to figure out who the leak is yet.
