Some Healthy School Changes

Some Healthy School Changes

These are a few things that might actually help a lot of kids in school.

First of all there is dress code (yuck). Everyone knows that dress code looks nice, but a lot of times dress code is uncomfortable. If a student is uncomfortable because of his or her clothes, it could affect how well they do on schoolwork. Also kids want to express themselves by wearing clothes they like. So I think we should get rid of dress code.

Then there is recess. All kids love recess, but you only have recess in preschool through fifth grade. Then when you get into middle school there is no more recess. I think students in all grades should have recess or a kind of gym class because it is good exercise. For students in high school the guys could have a weightlifting and treadmill class. The girls could have a treadmill and cycle and yoga class. This exercise could help all the obese kids in the United States.

These things could help students do better in school and eventually in life.

I could only guess you’re elementary kids.

I’m in middle school. I don’t really want recess anymore. Just maybe 10 minutes outside if it’s nice. Everything else is fine.
We get a gym class for 45 minutes EVERY DAY anyway.
And the dress code is important because if people where clothes that show too much of their bodies, it can get VERY distracting to all the other kids.
