Children have to follow some rules at home but you have to make more homeschooling specific rules for school hours. When the rules have been made write and post them so that it can be seen.

Take breaks

It is possible as an adult to go through a working day with less breaks, this is not good for homeschooling kids. It is better for students to get movement breaks often. They can also be a part of learning and not just a break. Physical activity will refresh homeschooling students and they will be able to focus better on the lessons.
