Why I Chose to Write

Why I Chose to Write

I started to write just to keep busy, over time I got addicted to writing as well as reading other peoples articles and poems.

To tell you the truth at first I did it because I did not know what else to do. I use do a lot of mailings for insurance companies, and the mortgage world fell apart, as did my business. I started loosing clients slowly and then, BAM! It was just about all gone.

I started writing partial because, when I would look things up on search engines, the things I was looking for, was not there, and if it was it was not very clear, which totally annoyed me. I would look up things about the Bible, and it would answer the question in a vague kind of way, as was the case with vitamins and mineral. I want answers that were clear and understandable. I wanted something a second grader would understand.

That was my intentions in the beginning, over time I became more interested in traveling, health, Religion, and so I decided to explore more and as I learned; I just wanted to share it with the world. Share in a way that would be understood, I did not need medical terms that I could not pronounce.

As I began to write more, I developed a strong almost addictive desire to write about everything that caught my attention. We live in a world with so much going on around us, from one California to New York.

There is sports, hobbies, children, health, the list is endless and we all have our own point of view, and the right to speak and express our opinion.

So now I take writing very serious, as a part of a growing family on Triond.com; I am truly amazed at the information and different subjects that are written about from pebble to sex. This is an amazing forum and has me excited about being part of something so great.

Since I started writing about six months ago, I began to see the error of my ways, my spelling was awful and grammatically I was a mess. Which made me realize that I should have listened to my English teachers a bit more. It is all right though, since I am having a great time writing, meeting new people, and learning something new everyday.

Very nicely put. Our writing can be a source of inspiration, release and information. If one is going to have an addiction, writing is a good one to have! :-)
