Why Should We Fix It?

Why Should We Fix It?

It was not our doing and yet its our generation being made to fix the planet. We were not the big mega money companies who started the cycle or the givernements who turned a blind eye and yet it’s up to us are we get punished for not doing so. You don’t recycle enough here’s your fine. Not exactly fair is it.

One thing I have noticed about the world it that no one really seems to give a care about anything or anyone no matter how much they perceive themselves too. In a world that is slowly being torn apart by war, greed and pure selfishness is there really any time to be so self-centred? The more that we as a planet no longer seem to gel together and hide out behind how we really feel towards each other the more likely it is that we will not notice the day that this planet simply dies.

It does not matter how it dies or how we die, all that matters is that the childish way we acted now means there is nothing we can do to stop it or fix it. It’s not the fact that we are killing the planet through our actions, it is simply that we are killing it because it’s our nature. Scientists are so worried about how an asteroid will kill the planet, and how global warming is slowly going to cause major problems. But what’s the point in worrying about them when the problem is really the human race and its greed? Stop our greed and the fact that we want more money via big business which means trees have to be cut down causing global warming and the loss of valuable animals and tribes and maybe, just maybe we and the planet have a chance.

At school we are bombarded with we must recycle its up to you the future generation to help heal the planet, when in actually fact it’s not our problem. Well it is, but it’s actually not in the sense we did not cause it, all you adults did it. You got greedy and wanted mega billion dollar companies and so to get that you destroyed the forests and land to build your mega sized polluting factories and for all your paper needs. Now why don’t you all look at what you have done and what governments have done and admit it for once. Admit that your part in the race to be the best and make the most has caused it all. Be a real adult and admit it and whilst you are at it why don’t you fix it.

At the end of the day us younger ones will suffer because the older generation never took responsibility and wont take responsibility and can’t be bothered to do anything about it. In actual fact it’s not fair that you are all passing the buck onto us. You caused it and now we got to fix your shithole of a mess. Get a grip for heavens sake.

The real cause of global warming is not the fact that factories have caused a mass load of pollution, or that trees have been cut down destroying miles of rainforest. What really caused the problems we now face and that will affect our future because everyone knows that you won’t suffer as you’ll be dead by time the real problems start, are all the money making moguls who thought that lining their pockets out of the suffering of everyone else and everything else. Money over brains that lot ill tell ya.

The governments have come up with recycling schemes and other schemes which will supposedly help the planet, but what’s the point? Most of them still have a load of cars and aircraft they use to travel a 20 minute journey or just down the road. How blooming hypocritical can a government get? Why don’t you use the bus? Why can’t you walk? You make us but you won’t. How can you preach to us if you don’t do it and if you don’t make the big money making businesses do it either. Oh wait I know, your too lazy and you like all the taxes that you get off them big businesses.

Here’s an idea for you governments, stop taxing us poor folk who pay so much in taxes that are supposed to go on healthcare and helping the so called recycling schemes but it clearly does not go on them, and just tax the big money making businesses and all the rick folk who just don’t do anything either. Why not, instead of wasting money on so called car scrapping schemes which clearly don’t work as even with that £2000 you give the working class still can NOT afford to trade in their old bangers, don’t you just give that money to a business towards more environmentally friendly equipment to make their products? This just makes so much more sense.

At the end of the day we all follow what the governments and business does, so instead of getting us to do all the work to save the planet, you governments and big businesses should do it first and then we will do it. At the moment we don’t.

We get punished for not recycling and all the rest but business and government don’t so here’s an idea for everyone who reads this, get as many people as you can to sign a petition and send it to your local government representative. This petition saying that until government and mega money businesses do their part why should we, set us the example and we will naturally all follow suit.

Makes more sense that they start than leave it to us little people who have done nothing but try and try to do something about it and our voices never get heard so it is about time that we all turned on them.

Greenpeace do their bit and it never succeeds, their voices are drowned out by the sound of all that money. Scientists do their bit and advise the governments, but how many of them get heard? Very few,  the money makes too much noise.

Truth is, it is a lot like the films Hollywood makes, The Day after Tomorrow and such like it was all the same story. Government never listened or acted until it was too late, unfortunately that part of the film is most likely going to be true. But even then in the film they never stood up and admitted it was their doing and I doubt they will when it really is too late.

Earth is a wonderful planet, but there is only so much the people can do unless governements and the mega money companies actaully help.

The young are always left to clean up after the last generation and maybe the next generation will have more intelligence and more interest in making a better world. You have to remember when I was young we didn’t know anything about pollution or dangerous chemicals. I remember my parents using DDT and we didn’t even know it was dangerous. I’m surprised any of us are even living. You, and my grandchildren are knowledgable about these things so you have a chance of fixing it.
