10 Things Every Teen Should Know
Keep this in mind.
- The adults will tell you to be independent and make your own decisions, but in the end they’ll always be upset when you don’t do what they tell you to do.
- Your friends will sometimes be mean and you may think that your friendship with them is over, but if you are truly friends you will always forgive them.
- Your GPA isn’t important; it doesn’t define who you are and, in the long run, it won’t help you to live a fulfilling life.
- Boyfriends and girlfriends will come and go, but your family is forever.
- Remember to tell your face when you’re happy. Sometimes the smile isn’t informed.
- If you keep a journal through the bad times, when the good times roll around you’ll be able to read the journal, laugh, and say “I was an idiot.”
- A job increases both experience and pocket money.
- Kids may seem annoying when you’re a teen, but you’ll grow out of that stage.
- Sometimes your best isn’t good enough for others, but it should always be good enough for you.
- Boys will think that girls are dumb and girls will think that boys are dumb. But if every person refused to be friends with someone that they thought was dumb, the world would be a very lonely place.
