As and adult, I’ll admit when teenagers use to say this, I was lost on the phase. And while teenagers love the saying. All you’re doing is tackling issues that just coming quicker than later. Because in certain situation you will need those guardians, you’re trying to claim your adulthood from.

So, you’re only emancipated when you think it’s cool to speak. Even, in the teens I have seen said it. In the end they always came right back home for advice. A worldly individual is smarter then a lamb trying to find their way.

There are laws that seems to support teenagers claim, but in reality, it’s a scheme. Because in a great majority of states, you’re not grown  until you’re eighteen. Even where teenagers get marry as fifteen and sixteen, in most cases you need parental permission. Did I say parental? So, how free are you in your mind that you’re coming back to the source, you’re trying to avoid?

Now, if it’s truly a sad situation, I support the emancipated reason, if it’s for the good of your health, and well-being. But a judge knows as social workers, you will still answer to someone.
